How to Find Great Deals at eBay

September 27th, 2009

Many people spend a lot of time searching for good deals on the items that they want and need. You will usually see these people hunting at garage sales, stores that are holding sales, wholesale warehouses, flea markets, and especially online and offline auctions. Thanks to the large number of auctions that are constantly going on at eBay, it can be difficult to find the products you want, at the price you want.

Start to look at every single auction that is related with what you have to sell. You can never have too much information. Pay attention to who is selling and what is his feedback. Pay special attention to what the description and auction details say. Is a guarantee mentioned? Is the item new? Is it authentic? Search for auctions that provide all the information you may need to make a good decision.

Who is going to pay for the shipping and handling? In most cases, the buyer pays these costs. Often times, the seller tries to charge more than the actual shipping and handling costs are. Watch out for high shipping costs, especially if the products will be auctioned at a very low price. Also take a good look when the seller will ship you the products after you made the purchase.

Don't bid on a product just because it is a 'good deal.' Many people simply bid for the sake of bidding without having any real need or desire for the product they bid on. Before you start biding on products that you may want, make sure to check the prices around the Internet. Just because it is on eBay does not mean that it is the cheapest price available!

And in the end, try to learn more about the sellers. Can you trust them? What is their rating? Read their feedback page! Not everyone is as honest as you are ' and the seller may be trying to take advantage of people that simply don't know enough to find out more about them.

If you want to avoid all the hassle of finding good and reliable sellers from which you can buy products to resell, you should take a look at Worldwide Brands. They have the biggest database of genuine wholesalers and drop shippers. These guys are the top experts in the e-commerce industry when it comes to sourcing products, finding good markets and making money on eBay.
